2001–2002 Dccbna Slf Transit Bus Recall

On certain DaimlerChrysler SLF (super low floor) transit buses, the inductor insulation of the Sure-Power series 1 battery equalizer may degrade over time, creating a short. The shorted inductor may cause the battery equalizer to smoke or burn, and possibly result in a fire. Correction: Sure Power will notify owners and, if required, replace the battery equalizer.
