Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the Electronic Control Module (ECM), which controls fuel system lift pump operation, could supply an erratic voltage resulting in premature wear of the pump. A failed lift pump may cause the engine to stall, which could result in a crash. Correction: Dealers will recalibrate the ECM and replace the fuel lift pump.
