1994–2002 Thomas Built Hdx-Ef School Bus Recall

Certain school buses equipped, at customer request, with passenger seatbelts, may suffer seatbelt failure. The edge of the metal seatbelt retainer strips may cause chafe damage to the belts. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if chafe damage is found, replace seatbelt assemblies. Seatbelt retainer strips will either be replaced or modified to prevent future chafing. Note: This action is deemed a product improvement campaign and is not being conducted under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
