Hazard description
On certain trucks, the hood safety cables, installed during vehicle assembly, are too long. If the hood begins to fall, the longer cable will cause the hood to fall too far, potentially injuring someone working in the engine compartment. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace any cables that are too long.
