1999–2003 Mci F3500 Recall

On certain motor coaches, insufficient weld and/or weld penetration could result in stress and fatigue cracks at a weld joining the steering arm idler bracket to the underside of the frame. This crack could propagate and eventually cause a loss of steering control, which could result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install reinforcement gussets.
