Certain infant child restrain system may contain a defect in the carry handle latch trigger. When used as an infant carrier outside of the vehicle, the handle can unexpectedly release, causing the seat to rotate forward. When this happens, an infant inside the carrier can fall to the ground or hit nearby objects and suffer serious injuries. Correction: Evenflo will provide a free repair kit and detailed instructions to owners.
