Hazard description
Certain motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment. The front turn signals were installed in an improper location. As a result, the rider's intentions to turn may not be conveyed clearly to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will disable the original turn signals and install new compliant turn signal lamps under the handlebar headset.
