On certain motorcycle tires, adhesion is reduced in a localized area between the tread rubber and the underlying textile reinforcement ply which can manifest itself as localized deformation, vibration, or the tearing out of pieces of the tread after sustained operation at speeds exceeding 250 km/h. Should this occur, the rider may loose control, resulting in a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires. Note: Only tires manufactured in France are affected.
