2006–2007 Vespa Gts Recall

Certain scooters may develop an exhaust leak at the junction between the exhaust pipe and the muffler. Exhaust gases leaking past this junction's graphite gasket could damage surrounding components. As a result, the rear brake hose may be impaired or melted, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a redesigned exhaust manifold down pipe. Note: The graphite exhaust gasket must be replaced each time the muffler is removed and reinstalled. Failure to do so could cause an exhaust leak.
