Hazard description
Certain flatbed utility trailers equipped with two loading ramps, which are stored in ramp hanger pockets located on the underside of the trailer bed. The welds which affix the ramp hanger pockets to the underside of the trailer may fail. As a result, the ramp hanger pockets could detach, dropping the ramp to the ground, possibly causing a roadway obstruction and potential for vehicle damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reinforce the ramp pockets.
