Hazard description
On certain motorcycles the Idle Speed Control valve (ISC) may malfunction. The valve may remain in the open position on start up and cause a no load engine speed as high as 5000 rpm. If the rider chooses to operate the motorcycle in this condition it could result in a crash. Correction: The ISC and ECM will be replaced.
