Hazard description
On certain snowmobiles, the carburetor may be contaminated by fine steel particles. This can cause the throttle to stick in the open position, unable to return to idle. A loss of speed control could result in a crash with bystanders, a fixed object, or another vehicle, possibly causing serious personal injuries or death. Correction: Dealers will clean the carburetor, fuel pump and fuel hoses.
