2005–2008 Chevrolet Hhr Recall

Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 115 - Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Specifically, the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) digit - position 4 in the VIN - should have had the letter "C" (for vehicles with a GVWR 4,001 - 5,000 lb), but instead contains the letter "D" (GVWR 5,001 - 6,000 lb). Correction: Since this does not pose any safety risk, no corrective action is required.
