Hazard description
On certain motorcycles, the mounting bracket for the add-on accessory top case may fracture with use. Should this occur, the top case may separate from the motorcycle while underway, creating an obstacle for other road users. As well, a top case unexpectedly falling off could cause an upset in the balance of the motorcycle, which could result in a crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the top case mounting bracket.
