Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the top flange of the frame rail extension may develop cracks which could propagate through the entire frame rail extension and the frame rail could fail. Over an extended period of time, cracking in the frame rail extension could eventually become widespread and result in a complete failure or breakage of the frame rail extension. If the entire frame rail extension breaks, it could result in a crash, causing injury or property damage. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.
