Hazard description
Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The rear hitch mounted spare tire carrier impedes full visibility of the left tail lamp. This lack of visibility could result in a vehicle crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a supplementary tail lamp, mounted on the fiberglass cover of the spare tire.
