Hazard description
On certain motorcycles, two (2) bolts of incorrect length were fitted to the front caliper. Insufficient thread engagement of the bolts could result in an insufficient clamping load on the joint. During routine maintenance of brakes there is a potential for the threads in the caliper be damaged or stripped. If unnoticed and the caliper is refitted, there is a possibility of front caliper coming loose which could result in a crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.
