2003–2006 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner Hdx School Bus Recall

On certain buses, the automatic transmission Vehicle Interface Module (VIM) may become corroded due to water and road spray intrusion. VIM corrosion may cause the starter motor to engage unexpectedly or the backup lights to operate intermittently. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace and relocate the VIM.
