Hazard description
On certain snowmobiles, the insulation for the engine block heater power cord may not be rated for extreme cold environments. As such, the insulation could crack, exposing wiring and creating an electrical shock hazard to anyone attempting to plug the power cord into a receptacle, or coming in contact with the vehicle while the power cord is plugged in. This could result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the block heater assembly.
