Hazard description
Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. Rear lighting does not contain integral reflectors, nor were additional reflectors provided. This could render the vehicle less visible to other motorist during hours of darkness, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Crossroads RV will mail reflectors to owners along with instructions for proper installation. Customers will have the option of installing the reflectors themselves or taking the trailer to the nearest Crossroads RV dealer to have them installed free of charge.
