Certain motorcycles fail to comply with CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. With the ignition switch in the ON position, and the headlamp switch in the OFF position, only the small bulb inside the headlamp housing is lit. Without full headlamp illumination, the vehicle may be less visible to other motorists and pedestrians during daylight hours, possibly resulting in a crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will update the headlamps wiring.
