2001–2009 Girardin Mbii Commercial Bus Recall

Certain buses fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 207 - Anchorage of Seats, and CMVSS 210 - Seat Belt Anchorages. The fold-away seats installed on, or just forward of, the wheel housing fail to comply with the strength requirements detailed in the Standards. In the event of a crash, the seat and seatbelt assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended and could result in injury to the occupant. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.
