*** This notice is provided for information purposes only, as the subject piece of equipment is not regulated under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act *** On certain electric tarp systems containing a solid state relay, improper installation and/or a short circuit of the motor leads may cause the solid state relay module to overheat or burn. This could result in a fire causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: The manufacturer will provide repair instructions and, if required, replace the tarp units.
