2009–2011 Altec Service Utility Body Recall

On certain trucks equipped with a custom-made cargo body, compartment doors may not latch properly when closed. Should a compartment door open while the vehicle is underway, stowed items could fall from the vehicle and strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Altec will direct vehicle owners to inspect and, if necessary, replace compartment door latches.
