Hazard description
On certain child seats, the National Safety Mark (NSM) label only indicates compliance with the infant seat standard (CMVSS 213.1), whereas the label should also state compliance with the child seat standard (CMVSS 213), due to the seat’s weight rating. Correction: Consumers are advised to call Evenflo at 1-937-773-3971 to request a repair kit which consists of a new NSM label and instructions for proper installation.
