2011 Altec Ac Series Recall

On certain truck-mounted telescopic cranes equipped with an Anti-Two-Block (ATB) switch tree guard option, the ATB switch bracket may have been installed incorrectly during the assembly process. As such, if the crane boom is raised towards the maximum elevation, the ATB switch, cover and weight may become dislodged and fall, placing anyone near or beneath at risk of personal injury. Correction: Altec will direct vehicle owners to inspect and, if necessary, modify the ATB switch installation.
