2011–2012 Mack Leu Recall

On certain vehicles, the alternator ground cable was incorrectly installed during vehicle assembly. The incorrect connection defeats the intended electrical circuit protection. As a result, an electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will disconnect the alternator ground cable from the starter and install it on the engine ground stud.
