Hazard description
Certain drilling fluid reclaimer trailers fail to conform to the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 121 – Air Brake Systems. The brake booster valve may have been installed incorrectly during vehicle assembly. As such, the brake actuation timing slightly exceeds the allowable limit, which could result in less efficient braking performance. In the event of an emergency stop, the vehicle's stopping distance would be increased, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will correct the air brake booster valve installation.
