On certain motorcycles, the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) has an incorrect character in the 10th position, identifying the model year of the vehicle as 2013 instead of 2014. Note: This does not pose a safety risk. Correction: Owners will be sent a letter than can be presented to insurers or future potential buyers explaining the discrepancy.
