Hazard description
On certain buses equipped with a Ricon wheelchair lift, the flexible steel conduit covering the handheld pendant may contact an electrical terminal at the base of the hydraulic pump. This could cause an electrical short, which may result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Ricon Corporation will supply vehicle owners with a cover kit and instructions for proper installation.
