2010–2011 Altec Ah85 Recall

On certain aerial devices installed on utility service vehicles (to elevate personnel in order to facilitate working on overhead service lines, for tree trimming, etc.), the current leakage monitoring system cable may be improperly secured. This could allow a conductivity path through the boom and increase the risk of injury due to electrocution. Correction: Altec will notify owners, informing them to inspect and properly secure the cable. Owners may contact Altec at 1-877-462-5832.
