Hazard description
On certain vehicles, debris may have contaminated the transmission fluid at time of assembly. This could result in abnormal noise when shifting, flaring between gears, inability to shift and/or engine stalling. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect transmission operation, flush the transmission fluid and/or repair/replace the transmission, as necessary.
