On certain vehicles, fuel tank crossmembers may crack, causing increased loading on remaining fuel tank mounts. This could result in the fuel tank separating from the vehicle, potentially resulting in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace affected fuel tank crossmembers.
