Hazard description
On certain vehicles, a fault in the steering column control module may disable the electronic stability control (ESC), illuminating the ESC warning lamp. Loss of ESC function, during certain driving situations where ESC intervention is warranted, could increase the risk of a crash, which could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the steering column control module with updated software.
