Hazard description
On certain Sierra 1500 and Silverado 1500 vehicles, the flexible steel cable that connects the driver's seat belt to the vehicle structure at the outboard position can fatigue over time and could separate, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will enlarge the side shield opening, install a pusher bracket on the tensioner and, if necessary, replace the tensioner assembly.
