Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the tab lock washers on the rear axle wheel ends may not have been properly bent over the outer spindle nut during assembly. Under certain circumstances, this could cause the spindle nut to loosen and the wheel assembly could separate from the rear axle, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and adjust the spindle nut and tab lock washer as necessary.
