Hazard description
On certain motorcycles, a metal component within the battery pack could have been improperly fastened and could detach, potentially causing an electrical short. This could cause a loss of motive power or result in a fire, which could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the battery pack and repair as necessary.
