Hazard description
On certain trailers, a manufacturing process error could lead to the formation of cracks on the underside of the frame rail flange in a 1 metre zone just forward of the front suspension hanger. This could result in the frame rails failing, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will remove the galvanizing in the affected area, inspect for cracks, and reapply the coating. Frames found exhibiting cracking in the affected zone will be replaced.
