Issue
Hazard description
On certain motorhomes, the furnace may not have been properly secured during the manufacturing process, allowing it to move freely. This could result in the misalignment of the air intake and furnace exhaust tubes. If the furnace starts up with misaligned intake and exhaust tubes, it could emit a burst of flame in the vehicle, which would increase the risk of fire. If the furnace moves while in operation, the exhaust fumes of the furnace could enter the vehicle. As a result, occupants could be exposed to carbon monoxide, which could lead to asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Correction: Dealers will install a bracket to secure the furnace.
