Hazard description
On certain travel trailers, the break-away safety switch may not have constant power and could be disconnected from the trailer house battery when switching off the battery disconnect. If this occurs, the brakes of the tow vehicle would not engage in the event of a trailer disconnect, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new wiring harness for the break-away safety switch.
