Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the rear axle may not have been properly filled with oil. This could cause the axle to generate excessive noise and fail prematurely, resulting in loss of motive power and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rear axle oil level. Vehicles found with a rear axle with no oil or a low oil level will have the rear axle replaced.
