Hazard description
Issue: On certain school buses, the restraining barriers may deform in a crash. This problem only affects 39 inch (99 cm) restraining barriers built by HSM, with model number FB11-39. Safety Risk: A restraining barrier that fails in a crash could increase the risk of injury to occupants. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Restraining barriers will be made stronger with a reinforcement bracket. Owners will be provided with instructions for installing the bracket.
