Hazard description
Issue: On certain vehicles, an incorrect driver-front airbag may have been installed during a past service/repair visit. As the airbag was not designed to be used in the vehicle, it may not work correctly. Safety Risk: In a crash with an airbag deployment, the airbag may not work correctly. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the driver-front airbag replaced with the correct part.
