Hazard description
Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with a connector for the rear hatch wire harness could cause the backup lights to not turn on when the car is reversing. Safety Risk: Backup lights that do not turn on when the vehicle is reversing could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rear hatch wire harness.
