Hazard description
Issue: On certain trucks, the compliance label lists an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). This could lead to overloading and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take the truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to install a label with the correct GAWR. For one of the involved trucks, the tires will also be replaced.
