Hazard description
Issue: On certain fire trucks, the air line for the parking brake may loosen and come out of its fitting. If this happens while the vehicle is moving, the parking brake could apply without warning. Safety Risk: A parking brake that applies suddenly while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Spartan Fire will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to an authorized repair facility to inspect and retighten the parking brake control line, as necessary.
