Hazard description
Issue: While towing a trailer, the trailer brake lights do not turn on when the Smart Cruise Control (SCC) slows the vehicle. Note: The vehicle's brake lights continue to function normally. Safety Risk: Brake lights that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install an additional wire harness to the main fuse box.
