Hazard description
Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver's seat frame may not have been properly welded. As a result, the seat frame could fail and move in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat frame that fails could cause an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the driver's seat. The seat frame will be replaced, as necessary.
