Hazard description
This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-629. Issue: On certain trucks or chassis-cabs equipped with a 6.7 L Cummins diesel engine, the intake air heater relay could short circuit. This could happen even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition switch is in the off position. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. FCA recommends that you should park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed.
