2019–2022 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner Hdx Non-School Bus Recall

Issue: On a small number of buses, the positive battery cable could be damaged by contact with the transmission oil cooler hose. If this happens, the battery cable could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and re-route the positive battery cable.
